SMM News on May 16: Today, the overall price of the rare earth market remained stable. Specifically, in the oxide market, the price of Pr-Nd oxide remained at 433,000 to 435,000 yuan per mt, the price of dysprosium oxide decreased to 1.64 million to 1.65 million yuan per mt, the price of terbium oxide decreased to 7.2 million to 7.25 million yuan per mt, and the price of gadolinium oxide remained at 168,000 to 170,000 yuan per mt. The price of holmium oxide remained at 520,000 to 525,000 yuan per mt, and the price of erbium oxide continued to fluctuate between 300,000 and 305,000 yuan per mt.

In the metal market, the price of Pr-Nd alloy remained at 533,000 to 536,000 yuan per mt today, the price of dysprosium-iron alloy stabilized at 1.6 million to 1.62 million yuan per mt, the quote for terbium metal remained stable at 8.9 million to 8.98 million yuan per mt, the price of gadolinium-iron alloy remained at 162,000 to 165,000 yuan per mt, the market price of holmium-iron alloy stabilized at 530,000 to 535,000 yuan per mt, and the price of lanthanum-cerium metal continued to stabilize at 17,000 to 19,000 yuan per mt.

Currently, the overall price of the rare earth market remains stable. After the market enthusiasm faded, there was no significant change in the supply-demand pattern. The rare earth market gradually returned to rationality, with quotes becoming stable and a wait-and-see sentiment emerging again. Additionally, as it is approaching the weekend, market fluctuations are relatively small, and the activity of offers and inquiries is low. Overall, the price of the rare earth market remains stable, and it is expected that this trend will continue in the short term.
